Didn't work for me. It's my understanding that the Russians control a lot of the juice and ecstacy circulating in the NYC area.

Everything I have seen about the Korean or any asian gang/mob/group/whatever you want to call them is that they are ruthless and are known for their curelty if corssed. :(

I saw John Gotti Jr pistol whip a guy so bad once at Channal 80 in Island Park, NY on a sunday afternoon in front of over 500 people including the Staff and no one did a damn thing. They dragged the guy to the hospital and he stuck the gun back in his pants and went back to drinking the afternoon away like nothing happened. I knew then as I do now - you don't fuck around with anyone connected period. They (the mob) are back to being way underground again these days, but they are definitely still around. However, I don't think they are as powerful as they used to be.

nope. nothing like it. when it came the day that punk piece of shit took things over from his pop. well. it was a big slap in the face to the used to be biggest family there was.
 
russian mob is far and away the most lucrative mob in the u.s. they are all about real estate and making money none of the stupid murders that used to occur so its much less noticeable. don't get me wrong i grew up in a town where the mayor is has italian mob ties but they aren't the powerhouses they used to be. as far as asian mobsters the yakuza is unrivaled because they are absolutely loyal and will not rat, they commit suicide if they feel they have disgraced the family in any way.

Good listening clip. I will agree and support the statements made about MAFIA. I am from the Boston area and can tell you it's no joke the Russian racquet is here and thriving. The Italians are around but do not hold the power they once had.

This is what has brought the Mafia to it's knee's! Loyalty is gone! Omerta' is a thing of the past. They are now "Italian" only by name, 99% of them do not even understand the Italian language and the concept of onore(honor)! What a disgrace!
