All the pastas I listed are custom foods I myself added into Fitday based on the package labels.....didn't add them custom as ounces, cooked - just dry.....which is why I typed all that out by 1 cup measure....

i think ww pastas and breads are just as good ....i've been eating alot more pasta and bread in place of brown rice and potatos and still continue to see progress and gains....prob missing some nutrients but i get them all in somehow by days end :)

Why are you confused??

I can't tell you what the macros are for "Ounces, cooked" of the pasta as it's not added into Fitday as such.....hence the reason I typed all that out in cup measure.....

Yeah, but that link takes you to 1 cup = 8 FLUID ounces, so is 1 cup the same as 8 SOLID ounces???
hmmm......

Here's a basic chart of measuring equivalents.

Dry Measuring Equivalents
1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons = 15 ml
1/8 cup = 2 tablespoons = 30 ml
1/4 cup = 4 tablespoons = 50 ml
1/3 cup = 5-1/3 tablespoons = 75 ml
1/2 cup = 8 tablespoons = 125 ml
2/3 cup = 10-2/3 tablespoons = 150 ml
3/4 cup = 12 tablespoons = 175 ml
1 cup = 16 tablespoons = 250 ml
Liquid Measuring Equivalents
1 cup = 8 fluid ounces = 1/2 pint
2 cups = 16 fluid ounces = 1 pint = 1/2 quart
4 cups = 32 fluid ounces = 2 pints = 1 quart
8 cups = 64 fluid ounces = 4 pints = 2 quarts

http://busycooks.about.com/library/print02/nhowtomeasure.htm

Liquid Measures Conversion
c: cup; tbs: tablespoon; ts: teaspoon; oz: ounce; mL: mililiter
1 c = 16 tbs = 48 ts = 8 oz = mL
Solid Measures Conversion
lb: pound; oz: ounce; g: gram; kg: kilo
1 lb = 16 oz = 454 g = .454 kg

anyone want to figure it out? lol

lol....great stuff, but not gonna help in this case

It's pretty easy:

What are the macros for 4oz cooked pasta?

What are the macros for a 6oz yam?

calorieking shows 4oz cooked pasta at 30g of carbs

and a 6oz yam around 47.....never thought there was that big of a difference...hell, I need em BOTH!
