White rice/bread = high GI = insulin spike = not good pre-workout

wheat/oat bran = fiber = very low GI

so,
what is the results of : White rice/bread + wheat/oat bran ?

a good low GI carbs (no insulin spike and a long lasting energy)?
or
a high GI (=> insulin spike) followed by another source of carbs (the fiber) ?
