Lower back pain

i was squatting last nite with light weight....225, went down and came up and felt a twinge in my lower back offcenter of my spine. So should i ice it or heat pad...??

fresh injuries, always ice it...
 
its not real bad....just when i sit down or bend over is when it hurts the most....it pisses me off because i warmed up more than i usually do and stretched more! I freakin hurt my back warming up with 225.....ended my workout quickly

p.s.....it hurts to take a shit :0
 
Ice it, then go see a chiropractor, then rest.
 
DO NOT work out till you see a doc! Serious bro. I gotta a bad back, to make a long story short Im a fireman and I was at a fire and fell through a floor. it really hurt but it wasnt untill a week later did i feel its effects. I was at work and i had to be loaded up and taken to the ER. turns out i pulled a disk in my lower back. Some symptoms include pain and tingling in your legs or toes. Not something to be taken lightly PLEASE take my advice, if you can get an MRI but get looked at once. Just to rule it out. The good thing is with todays technology it can be handled with physical therapy or steroids. (not the ones your thinking either). but who knows it might just be a simple sprain but then again...dont make the same mistake I did, im 23yrs old and sometimes I feel like im 70, all because I didnt wanna go to the doctor.
