any ab exercise or no ab exercise will yeild the same results on the fat that is still on your body. if your muscle isnt developed thats one thing...but bodyfat cant be flexed. exercise wont spot reduce.

can't flex fat...lol

Seriously try adding more stability ball static hold crunches, weighted hanging abs (relaxing the hips on each rep)...those will help build your ab muscles...

if you want to see the muscles you built then a caloric deficit needs to be created....diet and that evil useless cardio

here is a link to a good place to start when designing a diet:

anyone else see the problem here? hes 5'10" and 145 pounds... you should try adding some muscle first bro. the more muscle you have, the more fat your body burns when doing strenuous excersizes.

For the hanging ab work, do you use ankle weights or what are some other options?

As for the original question, I dont know what your diet/routine look like, but IMO I don't know if you should need to focus on reducing calories, at that weight. Just eat clean and do some HIIT, but focus on muscle like Lee said. :D

I squeeze a 30 lb db between my feet and do 4 sets of 12-15 relaxed to fully contracted with a half a count hold on the top
