Low Test. levels. Is topical Test. as effective as injectable? see results

Just wondering if using the cream (or gel) for testosterone replacement will produce gains like injectables do.

What kinds of results did anybody get using the cream.

Cream is not as effective by almost all accounts. You need like 10grams a day to get to where 100-200mg injectable per week would take you.

My results:

Testim Gel 5 gm tube daily: 168 Before, 461 after 3 weeks. It works!! Should go even higher as it takes 90 days to reach full potential. I feel like a new man.

I tried Delatestryl (t-enanthate) and I bloated up about 14 lbs. after 2 shots, 200mg, 2 weeks apart. Levels were not drawn on this therapy becuase my Doc sent me to an Endo who stopped all therapy so he could draw baseline numbers before determining a course of action.

I have not blown up on the Testim. My strength and Libido are rocketing. Joints are no longer sore. I feel so much better by comparison, of course my wife is now tired of 2 a days!! DAMN!!!

The only thing is I may try the shots again next summer. The gel can be messy if you're outside a lot and you shouldn't re-shower until 4-5 hours after application. Also I'm afraid of my 3 y/o daughter rubbing my shoulder when we're in the pool.

Talk to your Dr. about his/her recommendations and choose what's right for you. I was a little sceptical of the gel at first, but the proof is in the numbers and the way I feel.

Good Luck,

John

According to Swale(Dr. John www.allthingsmale.com ), the daily androgels are overall better than weekly shots. Much more expensive, but the gels seem to raise DHT better, which gives a better result for libido and ED( not Everyday)

This is interesting regarding gels raising DHT. This is the second time I have heard an HRT specialist refer to this. Raising DHT is definately good for libido and ED, but should this really be the goal of HRT? I think the goal of HRT should be to raise T levels not DHT levels.

I would really like to know how much DHT vs T is raised on these gels. People supplementing with straight DHT gel for HRT, experience lower T levels and lower estrogen levels:
