I was wondering if it is possible to gain muscle mass while on gear with a very low caloric intake and a high protien intake? And
assuming that I would be able to keep my workouts fairly intense.
This would be with Sustanon.

I meant to say a low carbohydrate ,high protien intake.
The calories remain pretty high.
Thanks

Very unlikely unless you're new to weight training...in which case you shouldn't be using AS. Growing muscle tissue requires incredible amounts of resources, and not just protein. When in a calorie deficiency the body must use stored energy within the body to manufacture energy to run the organism. Even if protein is high when calories are sub-maintnace much of that protein will under go glucogenisis converting many of the amino acids into glucose. It will also take amino acids from muscle tissue to supply more important needs of lifes' functions. Unfortunately for us excess amounts of muscle tissue isn't a priority for the body. Infat when calories are restricted lossing muscle mass makes the body more capable of dealing with the caloric insufficiency. Protein is only one factor in muscle growth. Without sufficient glucose the energy expensive process of hypertrophy can't operate fully and much of the protein will be converted into glucose as that is the #1 priority of the body. Only when energy needs are met can anabolism of extra muscle tissue take place. Those who just start training may infact gain a bit of muscle even though calories are insufficent simply because the body is being forced to adapt and the amount of muscle is nothing too demanding of the body. After years of training accumulating new muscle tissue becomes very burdonsome and metabolically expensive thus more nutrients are required to carry the process out. The more muscle you have the more energy it takes just to maintain it let alone grow it. Weight training is far from a naturla activity and because of this fact the muscle we develope during years of intense training is not normal for our body's and the body will "fight" to maintian a reasonable amount of mass so that energy needs never become too outrageous. This is why most people loose muscle when they diet. The most we can hoe for is to maintain out current muscle while in a restricted calorie state.

To gain mass you need to eat. You can gain quality muscle if your carbs are low but you should take something that works good with low carbs or diets like Primo Depot. I was 185 before my first cycle of sustanon 250, Durabolin, Winny,Clen, Novadex and even eating less than 2600 calories a day I still gained 18lbs of pure muscle. My bodyfat went from 14% to 11% and I am now 202lbs. It was my first cycle so thats why I probably got great results. I am 23 years old and measure 6 foot. Don't get me wrong, I still had to lift very hard to see the results. The exact cycle was:

Week 1-10 Sustanon 250 at 500mg a week
Week 1-10 Durabolin not Deca Durabloin at 500mg a week
Week 6-10 Winstrol Depot at 50mg Everyday
Week 13-16 Clomid at 50mg Everyday.
I also took Novadex at 20mg everyday for the complete cycle even when on Clomid. I regret not using Primo Depot with that cycle.
