Seems that the only people concerned about race are the ones that live in sheltered segregated communities. Almost forgot, and children who think its funny to say words like nigger.Trash comes in all colors ,oh yeah white to. Its always some fuckin hillbilly complaining about color.I lived a large portion of my life in a white mid-upper class neighborhood. I now live in the city for the past 6 years. I never realized how racist and closed minded my family/old neighborhood was until I got to see life from the other side of the tracks. Acceptance and intelligence comes from experience.Its easy to scream from the trailer park about blacks,hispanics,etc. But until you live among them you dont have room to talk. Besides racism is a learned behavior. No infant has a problem playing with another no matter what color. Until somebody, usually family,tells them otherwise.I dont give a fuck what color man my daughter were to bring home as long as the person possessed morals,education,and ambition to do something in life.Ive been vacant from EF for a while but damn,Elitefitness is starting to look more like DavidDukefitness.com. I'm blown away to see this many posts concerning race. Who cares, really. I hope our lives are a little more eventful than counting how many new black,chinese,hispanic..,etc move nearby. For fucks sake,Wipe some of the brown crud off the screens in the mobile doublewide.The world has many colors.Each of our ancestors came from some place else.Most aren't pure bread anything,unless you came from a small community or a racist family that was to blinded by color to see beauty.This world would probably function all little better without all the ignorance.

You are absolutely correct that most people who are ignorant lack any real life experience (and education).

blah. Racism can be fun. Plus you must take into consideration the resentment some white people feel towards society for trying to guilt them daily over race. Not everyone likes the idea that black people can beat up white people and be called heros but white people can be treated like scum for beating up blacks, even if the motive isn't racial.

I would probably qualify as a racist. I don't hold other races back in life, but i use slurs and make fun of people's race. Big deal i say. Someone who calls a woman a bitch isn't labeled a sexist, i don't see why i would be different on this issue.

As far as i'm concerned, you've picked the 'feel good' topic of the decade and ran with it, i take you as seriously as all those people trying to end AIDS in the 90s. If thats what you want to do with your life, fine. I just don't consider racism (whatever that is anymore) to be important in todays world, too many other issues to face.

In the end, i'd have more sympathy for 'racism' if the inmates weren't running the asylum on this issue. If a black person could accomplish something with his life and not be labeled a sell out for doing it in the white establishment, then i might care about people who condemn racism. But that won't happen, they'd rather try to segregate themselves, or view academic & professional accomplishment as 'selling out' while holding street criminals in higher esteem than Colin Powell.
