Losing size post cycle, but keeping strength...

Does this happen to most of you? It seems that nowadays everytime I come off cycle I return to my previous weight, with maybe a few pounds more here or there. My first cycle I gained 18lbs, and kept 15. Now I am lucky to even come away with 3 or 4 lbs from a 12-week cycle. Although...I keep nearly all my strength. Is this truly a sign that I am retaining a good amount of LBM, or am I just gaining a shitload of water and the dropping it all post-cycle? My cycle was Sust/Deca/Dbol, finishing off with Tren/Prop for a 10-week duration. I'm 5'9" and started @ 182 lbs 12% bf, eventually hit a max of 201lbs in Week 5, and then returned to a about 185lbs w/ bf remaining the same (I'm in day 15 of PCT consisting of Nolv, Post-Cycle, and Unleashed). So any similar experiences/opinions? Thanks
 
if you are maintaining your strength, and most of the size you are losing is shortly after the cycle, then I would have to guess that its mostly water you are losing. I would think though that you should be able to keep more than 3 or 4 pounds off of a 12 week cycle. I went through a strength like that, so I revamped my diet and started eating a TON more protein, now I seem to gain and keep more size

I agree with needsize.

It's mostly water, you should be happy that you are retaining your strength. Strength is the key to adding more mass, if that is your final means.

It's simple, if you didn't keep much weight after your cycle, but also didn't gain any or almost no fat during your cycle then my guess would be too low calories or too low protein or both during your cycle. I would also take a closer look at your pct. Maybe you stop your PCT way before acceptable lh and test readings.

No, my PCT is always done as thoroughly as possible. I think maybe you guys are right about needing to keep protein higher, because I have not maintained the high amounts that I used during the beginnings of the cycle. I will try to up that a bit while staying natural, and then plan my next cycle in the months to come. At least if I keep my strength, it will be easier to pack on more solid mass the next time around. K to ya all

No, my PCT is always done as thoroughly as possible.
