Yea I never knew you could call the phone company until I heard my friend do it. He asked where the number originated and to whom it was registered to. She said it was a cell phone so they couldn't see the name of the person though. Only land lines will work for things such as names and addresses. Unless he's an even better manipulator than I previously thought, they do allow you to get this information
You try that in Canada and they immediately tell you no way. Not allowed due to privacy laws. I tried it once for someone that was calling my house and hanging up and they told me the only thing I could do would be to file a complaint with the police who would follow up.

I'm not in there but my parents are and there is a sat photo of their house. I am not registered as actually living where I do so no public way of finding it.
