Looking for Advice

Ok Im a newbie to this board. Been trolling it for the past 2 weeks trying to grasp the immense amount of information for here.

I wanna cut weight as hard as i can. im 6'2/310 I would guess 28% bf. For the past 3 weeks I have done lifting then 70-90min of run/walk cardio in the morning. I used to eat a lot of junk but have cut it down to 200cal(some lettuce and small piece of chicken) a day. I think my body is just beginning to use my fat as a source of energy since in the past week my weight loss as begun to escalate.

There is some background info.. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions to a good way to increase weight loss. Im open to anything. I find myself getting really tired after my workout then about 2 hours later i get a blast of energy again. I was thinking of starting some cutting supps. But not entirely sure how that works. Does it also help to burn existing fat or just fat i digest.
 
start eating pal!! at least 1 gram of protein per pound of lean mass and 2g healthy fat (omega 3 flax ect.) the last thing you want to do is burn of lean body mass, witch in turn will make you even fatter even though your losing weight.
 
I got the low cal intake idea from my brother, He wrestles and is always cutting to make weight. Should I try some Thermo stacks to increase the loss. Are there any supps i can take to curb the muscle loss?
 
Agreed. You need to eat more. If you keep doing what you're doing, your metabolism will go into starvation mode and do everything it can to hold onto all that fat. You don't have to eat like a rabbit to lose weight. It's not a quantity issue, it's quality.

Stay in the gym and keep up the cardio. Also, do research on ketogenic type diets such ast Atkins or Protein Power.

What your brother is doing is completely different from what you need to do. He's probably already in shape and is just doing some quick fix stuff to make weight. You need a long-term solution.

For now, fuck supplements. I'm assuming you're young, that's a benefit. Use it. You'll be able to lose wait at your age moreso than at any other time in your life. Learn how to eat right and excercise correctly. The supps will come later.

Also, I'd recommend you look into the Body for Life program.
 
there is no such thing as a miracle pill. get your diet into gear by eating every 2 to 3 hours, to speed up the metabolism. dieting does not mean to eat less. eat more often smaller meals, and the weight will shed off. i would personally stay away from fat burners for a few the time bieng. drink water by the galloons. do searches on this board for diets, weight loss, and etc. you will learn a lot.
