He has bedsores on that one leg. It's sad, really. Think about what life must be like for him. No chance at getting out and getting a job, a girlfriend, children, anything. No wonder it is hard for them to stop eating. What else does he have for pleasure now? It's depressing to even see that.

People are quick to judge and point out that it was his eating that made him that way, but almost everyone's problems in life are self created when it comes down to it. It's sad one way or the other.

I feel pity for crippled people, who got that way through no fault of their own. I feel pity for people born less fortunate.
But I feel no pity for this man, nor any addicts or miserable people who arrived at their situation on their own.
