Long Term Testosterone advice

Hi,

I'm 42, in good shape, work out regularly. Over the last 10 years or so I have taken different gear, usually for very short bursts such as 4-6 weeks typically before a vacation, so I can look and feel my best.

This summer I took 100cc test cypionate for about 8 weeks. Now is when I would normally come off but I've been reading a lot about reduced test as we get older and about guys that supposedly take test by injection for very long term, as in years. I'm unable to locate anything I feel is definitive on the subject as far as safety goes.

I did have blood work done:
Test = 1204.51H (Normal range - 270-1070)
Test, Free = 30.62 (Normal Range - 4.7-24.4)

I am obviously running above the normal range here. What are the risks if any?

Thanks in advance!

Nobody can tell u the risks 100% accurate.
BUT, I can say that if you stay within those ranges, which isn't that much higher than the "regular" 15 year old, its pretty safe.
STILL, know this, if you ever want (more?) children, then staying on for years is a big risk. Its also a risk that you'll never feel truly good without test if you use it continually for too long.

so the biggest risk IMO is the risk that you'll never truly function without test and will need it the rest of your life.

Apart from that you have all the usual risks of using hormones in general;
-cancer (at least a theoretical risk)
-gyno, high BP, cardiovascular disease, etc.

Having testosterone levels above the normal range for long periods of time puts you at a significantly elevated risk of prostate cancer. It will also lead to poor cholesterol levels.

The goal with TRT is to put your testosterone levels in the normal-high range. Your dosage is slightly too high for TRT. I would lower your dosage to 70cc, wait a month and get blood work done again.

Remember to include an AI in your TRT and get your estrogen levels checked. You want to keep your estrogen in the low-normal range. A good AI dosage for TRT is aromasin at 5mg EOD

Wasn't the blood test taken ON cycle near the middle or end to reflect the values you get from running the test cyp?
(that's what I though when giving the reply, so yeah, that would be nice to know.)
