long term AAS effects on AR receptor binding and regulation

I have been reading that long term use of trenbolone causes a decreased affinity of AR receptors to testosterone.

I was wondering is this the same with all AAS, or are there any studies compairing different anabolic steroids on AR regulation. I know that nandrolone upregulates AR receptors greatly. That DHT does it very well in the presence of estrogen. Are there any studies showing AR receptor proliferation in response to different anabolic steroids, or AR binding affinity after exposure to different anabolic steroids.

Also what are peoples thoughts on upping the dose of the aromatase inhibitors 2-3 weeks before going off cycle to help with the estrogen related regulation of tesosterone.

I have also heard that tren may downregulate AR receptors, but nothing concrete. It is also true that most AS will upregulae the receptors, but i don't know on a case by case basis. As for upping the intake of anti estrogens in the weeks prior to ending a cycle, i don't know how you would base the dosage, especially since you would taper the gear at the and of the cycle which will automatically have the effect of making your anti e's more pronounced at the same dosage. So i would just keep it nice and steady for 3-4 weeks post cycle. As a post cycle anti e and test production stimulator i would go with Tamoxifen.
