Bro - like others have said all depends on how long you took off, what you doing while you were off and your body type etc.
I have just started training again after taking 15 months off (15 months during which time I was smoking, had an apalling diet, and lost almost 20 kilos).
I've now managed to put together about 5 month of fairly solid training and I have put on 11 kilos (no gear).
After the first 2 months back I really started to grow again - first time back in the gym felt like I was wasting my time - no strength - couldn't even bench press or squat 60 kilos.
Now it is five months on and though the wieghts are still nothing like they were two years ago when I was juicing I am still gaining and getting bigger and stronger.
My advice - take it slow and steady - start enjoying it again and lsiten to your body and try and do things 'smarter' this time around and you will grow faster than you did before you took the layoff.
