I prefer long, smooth cycles. I'm a big fan of 16 week cycles, with compounds that don't add much water weight, if any. I feel this helps your body to adapt to your gains so it is easier to hold onto during PCT. I don't see how gaining 25lbs in 6 - 8 weeks (with 50% or more of it being water) can be beneficial at all, unless you are only looking to be buff for a certain event.
