So my point is, if he is a terrorist, wouldn't you like to get one alive, and you know, question him or something?

And if he was innocent, your gonna piss off some minorities, and increase the amount of people that will inflict violence on the general population.

I totally agree with you. Who knows if he was wired or not? They knew he had involvement in the bombings yesterday and he was a threat. It's not worth taking a chance of getting him alive when the chances of him being strapped are high. Innocent lives were at stake at that very moment.

I was thinking that depending on the explosives (not with highly stable plastic ones though) you could actually run a risk of detonating the guy by firing like that at him???

Not necessarily. Picking them off one by one is a good policy. Why hold them in a cell to gather information, of which they may have none?
We gather up a bunch of terrorists and hold them which pisses off the ones who are free, giving them cause to say take their own hostages, put them in an orange jumpsuit and cut off their heads.
If there ever was a time for a shoot first policy when dealing with these people, this is it.

I believe you're supposed to shoot for the head in those cases.. but I don't think we know for sure where the bullets hit the person. At any rate, it's one of those tough decisions one has to make without all the info and very little time..

5 close-range to the head will definitely leave a headless body, not to mention that each shot will me much harder to make than the previous one

A cop's job is to protect the public and enforce the law.

If he was innocent, I'm really sorry but all the terrorists have the same background. Arab muslims. If the rest of Arab muslims think they are good, well, turn against these dudes and show us your unconditional support. Be smart.
