You know the sad thing..? He isn't even smart enough to leave that by the couch. He props it against the sliding glass door in the track to keep burgulars out. When he wants to use one, he has to run over and grab it, use it and stick it back on.

Also this may sound silly or stupid but does the tivo HD record normal programs into HD quality? How does that work?

I would have to say no. Normal programs can be upconverted to "HD" resolutions but i don't think they are HD quality. I've never really recorded anything with the thing yet. I don't get to watch too much Tv these days.
