Logging in every 2 seconds is getting really annoying.

if you go to the main forum page it shows that your still logged in.

for some reason the login thing is still there on this forum though.

weird
 
i can only login if i cleared my cookies now......and if i leave the site, and come back, it logs me out and I have to clear cookies again and log in again......:(
 
When I log in it doesn't actually log me in. I have to log in about 3 times before it actually works. This is extremely annoying.

it won't let me log in when I first arrive to the site but if I go to a post and hit reply, my logon is accepted that way when prompted for it.
 
Members who have login problems, please follow these steps:

1- Delete all cookies (if possible manually) in your computer regarding this site, close your browser, reopen, visit forum home page, and login.

If this fails:

2- Visit this URL: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/mycookies.php First check all boxes and then choose DELETE MY COOKIES. Then relogin in the same page.

If this fails too, please give more info about the problem you get, like:
a) In which page you try to login and fail (paste exact url please)
b) Have your computer allows "cookies"?
c) What's your browser, its version, OS?
d) Before AND after the login check the url in your browser and tell me if you see a part that starts with "s=" in the url.
e) Did you have same problems in the previous board version?
f) Do you have the same problem in any other vbulletin 3.x board (if you are a member in any of them)
g) Do you use Stealth Web Address URL or regular board url? (Applies if you're platinum)
 
If I try logging in, then the title page loads and I click on a forum, it wont show me as logged in. But if I log in, then immediately click on "advanced search", the search screen will say "welcome beefybull, etc."

Tried both with same results

BUT I did find the reason why it's happening though. I never updated my favorites link. It was still using the old site which must have had a different address or something. If anyone else has been diong this, delete your link and recreate it
 
I find if I just go back to the main forum page it logs me in.
 
If you're seeing "boards.elitefitness.com" in the address bar, check your bookmark. You want "www." not "boards."

If we missed fixing an internal link and it's trying to send you to "boards," let me know which page is doing that and you'll get a nice present.

FWIW, isn't this something that could be done with a global search and replace on all the php files?

Basically search for "boards.elitefitness" and replace with "www.elitefitness"

A grep on that string in the the directory(ies) should at least show the code monkeys where to look.

When a Plat member clicks to go the galleries the EF banner ads show at the top again, so it's like it doesn't know you're Plat on that page. Does it affect anything?
