Load in separate needles?

Can someone please explain the logic behind this taking it in a different needle theory?

I am just curious.

Yes water and oil do not mix but they will both still be absorbed once injected in to the muscle and as far as I am aware, I have not found any studies out there to suggest it would cause any reduced effect my shooting them together. (of course unless you are shooting 4+ml then I have always shot in different body parts.

Are there any 'studies' out there to suggest effects of mixing two in the same syringe will diminish returns rather than just seperating them cause of a wife's tale?

Thanks

has nothing to do with reduced effectivity.

If both are sterile, how would this be more likely to lead to an abcess, I am not trying to start a war or anything, I am just trying to find out how or why. I was injecting this way for almost 5 years (on and off of course) and did not experience any problem. That is not to say they can't occur but I'm curious to find out how it would.

Thanks

unfortunately there are not studies for every truth.

the oil can encapsulate the water.

Thanks Guardian - if you were injecting 1 or even 2ml of an oil based substance an 1ml of a water based substance, would these not disperse in the body long before there were a chance of the water based substance being at any risk of causing problems?

Thanks
