just being curious: why didn't you use oleic acid instead of sesame oil like the steroid Andriol. why did you chose the ether version over an undecanoate ester?

In the cited studies oleic acid surprisingly sucked next to sesame oil (less than half the lymph absorption).
In a side studie they incubated the ether-modified steroid with fresh bile for 1 hour, in either the sesame oil or oleic acid solution. 94% was unchanged with the sesame, compared to 54% with oleic. Apparently sesame protects the hormone against metabolism more effectively, and perhaps is even better absorbed by the lymph. I'm wondering why they went with oleic with Andriol.
The melting point of 1-testosterone undecanoate is too low (it is a liquid), and difficult for the labs to work with. The added cost in pushing for this would not be worthwhile for the cosumer. Plus you lose nearly double the amount of base 1-testosterone because the UD ester is so heavy.
The THP ether is working exceptionally well anyway, so it surely wasn't a bad choice.
