It's pretty obvious his dad was pumping this little kid with some kind of fast acting anabolic steroid. At the end of the episode on TLC, the boy was playing the role of "Little Tarzan." He spent roughly 30 hours a week with a personal trainer to obtain the athletic shape for the role. Even after all of that training and proper diet, he still didn't get as cut up as he was when he was being trained by his father.
My question is this, "Why didn't they do drug testing on this kid when he looked like a genetic freak?" I mean, for God's sake, this kid looked like a little Arnold when he was three or four year's old.
In my opinion, to have a little boy pushing such big numbers with the weights when he is that young is one step short of child abuse. There's not a kid out there who should be touching a weight until they are at least in high school. The body needs to develop on its own. It doesn't need heavy resistance training at a young age at all. If you noticed, his personal trainer had the boy using one of those Total Gym contraptions which utilized the boy's bodyweight and nothing more. He had him doing push ups, sit ups, and chin ups, all of which used the boy's bodyweight as resistance, and nothing more.
All I can say about this is that the boy's father needs to stay locked up. He is one sick son-of-a-bitch. And as for the boy's mother, she needs to let him grow up as a normal kid. That boy may grow up to resent her for pushing him so hard when he was so young. That's my 2 cents about this.
