Liquidex - Carcinogen Warning?

What's the deal with the label on Liquidex that says:

"This product contains compounds known to the state of Cali to cause cancer and/or birth defects"

Huh, sounds like if you take it anywhere other than California you should be OK. Good thing I'm moving to Nevada in 2 weeks!

I forget what that is but there is a warning sign in my place of work that says that-something in the building materials (Not asbestos)

:FRlol:

Whew, thanks for clearing that up, Mischief. I just feel really sorry for the guys in California.

I guess you can get give a poor rat cancer from just about anything, like 4 gallons of intravenious milk per day. We owe a lot to our little rat friends. They've gone through shit in the name of human medical development. Imagine the millions of little ratty kidney failures from all of the fina tests!!! hehe

Alright, I did a little reading last night after a hint by the Liquidex guy himself nudged me in the right direction. It seems that any aromatase inhibitor, when administered to a post-menopausal woman, can increase her chances of Uterine cancer.

That's it. You know they have to put a warning on everything these days.

Don't suppose any of us will have to worry about uterine cancer, though :D

We can worry about prostate cancer which seems to be the same type of tissue

I wish they would just tell us what is REALLY risky. Beauracratic, litigating, legal bullshit created by the US legal machine. How about the list of side effects on a package of Tylenol.

I'm sorry, but it's just like male pattern baldness when it comes to cancer: if you're predisposed to it it's going to happen. I know 95 year olds who still smoke 2 packs a day, which killed a 45y/o. Why worry about the future so much...you have no way of preventing death. Accept it and live freely.

of course there's ways.. anti-oxidants, screenings, etc. We have medical technology to make us live longer, why not take advantage of it?

Tamoxifen is also listed by the state of Cali as a carcinogen. Now they also say Chips and Fries cause cancer as well.

You guys sound really stupid. Deluding yourselves so that you can keep taking steroids. I've had cancer twice. It really fucked me up. After reading up on Nolvadex by doing a simple google search there are numerous articles that are sourced and clearly state how long term use of Nolvadex can cause damage to the retina of the eye, uterine cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, blood clot formation, heart disease and osteoporosis. It binds irreversibly to your DNA causing cancerous mutations.

And you're comparing this to something as inane as a predisposition to cancer, or eating french fries? Why voluntarily mutate your DNA? That's not predisposition. That's taking an active part in messing with your own DNA.
