Liquid egg whites?

Sorry, I hate those damn things. I like to keep it fresh!

I bought them once and had a terrible experience with 'em. They tasted like the carton.

Perhaps they have changed but I can't get them past my gag reflex now...

If you personally like the taste & don't mind paying the $$$ for them, then by all means use them......it's a personal preference.....

Use them if you like the taste. Also, Egg Beaters makes some in Southwestern Omellete flavor, etc. I pesonally prefer separating the egg whites my self - takes about 1 1/2 minutes to separate 6 egg whites and I like the taste much better.

The others sure are convenient though.

FYI - you can freeze them as well - the box may swell a bit, but they do freeze well....

I enjoy theses a lot. Give them a try!!

I'm always on the move, so I have switched to these... Costs a bit more, but they are pasturized and fit in my cooler. Someone else posted on here that they mixed them with OJ in a blender, and that works if you drink it soon after (tastes much better). Other than that I will mix with half the normal whey serving and milk about 90 min before a meal and my recovery has improved.

Try Eggology -- www.eggology. I order 48 (two cases) of the 16 oz. egg whites at a time and have them sent to my house. They come frozen and packed in dry ice. They thaw in a refrigerator and I put the ones I don't need in my freezer. I eat half of a 16-oz. carton every morning for breakfast (and sometimes one for dinner as well, if I want something quick). I make it into an omellete with just Pam sprayed on the pan and nothing else (just put some cracked pepper on the finished product and it is very tasty).

Just as good. They're nasty though.

I've been on these for years, here is the deal though. Compare the Eggwhites to the regular Eggs of the same brand right next to them in the store. I used to buy the whites thinking I was being health but the truth is they are both the same. So if you are buying the "whites" because of cholesterol then look into the regular eggs for better taste with the same benefits. Also what I like to do is crack 1 real egg with them and gain a little flavor without giving up to much.

Cost effectiveness?

Decent. I get 30 eggs (5 servings) for 5 bucks at the grocery store. That's $1 per serving (how much does a chicken breast cost?).....combine that with my oatmeal, and I'm eating for $1.50.
