Lions predictions....

i hope they can at least do something against green bay this weekend. I have to start james stewart in fantasy football.

They Should get Barry Sanders back, What ever happened to Herman Moore?

Barry's a quitter! Herman just didn't have the hands he use too...I also think he lost his drive with the poor QB's he had to deal with year after year.

I hear that. Chris spielman was decent, I think he quit to spend time with his family.

Chis went to the Bills for awhile...he didn't like the way the team was going. He retired due to injuries. He was an awesome linebacker and a great guy. He does some commentating here and there.

Detroit made a mistake getting rid of Charlie Batch. I thought he was decent.

They gave him a chance....even paid him! He had no patience, and was terrible out of the pocket. Detroit has no OF line so that didn't help the situation.

The best player on that team not including Hanson is Porche.

they'll win 3-4 games this year i think. in the offseason millen will leave for the broadcast booth, if not before the season is over. i don't see them getting rid of morhinweg anytime soon.

they've tried using the players with experience and they've gotten blown out. they've given up 80 points in 2 games. c'mon!!!!!! put harrington in there for good...it's gonna happen sooner or later. m&m only want mcmahon in there now so hopefully he can ring off a few wins and get something for him in the offseason.

detroit has always been an 8-8 9-7 team, but ever since millen and morhinweg came in it's been shit. they say they sacrified veteran leadership for youth and speed, but none of these young guysh ave instinct or competence.

it's mostly the coaching though. they were in a cover 2 practically the WHOLE game against carolina and all carolina did was have a rb run a pass route up the middle. det. would run stewart on 3rd and 10 trailing 14 points, just doesn't make sense.

this team is just all around bad.

qb- looks promising but def. not what they need in the present

rb- stewart is running out of gas, hardly any worthy backups, they got rid of a young guy that did good in the preseason, no clue why.

wr- no one to get them the ball, schroeder sucks anyways. crowell is always injured. schroeder sucks. anderson and hakim look ok.

OL- TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! steve young w/ barry sanders and the niners wr's couldn't move the ball with this OL.

DL- looks good on paper but they haven't done shit.

lb's- suck

cb's--- couldn't stop sisters of the poor. fair was the only decent one but they let him go. everyone else either was injured, retired, or a bust.

management sucks, they bring in no talent and bring a dumb WCO scheme into a system that's not capable of running it yet.

i just went off on a rant, but this teams pissing me off. here's what one afc scout said of detroit.

"The Lions are an embarrassment, and ownership needs to just eat all the contracts and clean house. I'm talking about (team president) Matt Millen, the head coach (Marty Mornhinweg), you name it. I felt like they would lose to Carolina. But to get blown out! Carolina shouldn't blow anyone out, you know? The Lions might have three good players, that's it. They really are a damned disgrace."

I'm saying 3-6 wins.

Barry - Greatest RB ever (slight edge over Payton)

Herman Moore - one of the best WR's ever, with a consistent team/QB, could have had 110 catches every year. Still holds the single season record - 123 catches

I agree with you on everything except the wins...

They should of kept Gary Moeler as the head coach when Ross quit.
