Anyone build their own linux distro?

Right now I'm developing a distro using the selinux kernel patch, reiserFS and was wondering if anyone had a preference over grub or lilo?

I prefer grub except when running system data batch apps 1-7 and in that case I prefer Lilo, but I like to call it Leo in honor of Uncle Leo from Seinfeld. I also like flowers.

lilo devoured the boot sector of my first computer and ruined the hard drive. i have not forgiven it since

frackal has no idea what he's talking about...especially the flowers part

grub, i think its prettier. the boot loader should not fuck your computer up... in most cases if u want to use another OS after having linux on the computer, use a utility called delpart.exe and completely delete all linux partitions. or u could fdisk the master boot record and that will clear any linux boot loaders.

We tend to develop our own items when we're pushing in the direction of security.

Basically we're developing a distro that complies with common criteria, which none do at the moment. Some are closer than others, but all require some hardening.
