yeah limewire is pretty good. Ended up with a worm from it though, just gotta pay attention to what you download. You will end up with the same results from any sharing host though, so no need to be alarmed...I have used both morpheus and limewire and found limewire to be better,faster, and easier

I used to use Limewire but then I got a trojan from it and I could barely get the trojan off.
I just reinstalled it and it says it will not allow me to dowload b/c of an older version is infected?????

Yeah I had the worm where limewire would constantly restart no matter how many times that I closed it..Lol pain in the ass in a half no less.
I uninstalled and re installed before ridding the worm and I had no issues (except it still kept opening up and starting)..Once I got rid of the worm it worked great.

I am running AVG now and once I run that I will install limewire again

I ran adaware which I have been so happy with in the past..Took care of a trojan that even mcafee would not rid of...However it failed to fix this worm, I guess it got into my registry and changed values of stuff.I even tried to manually remove it and it would not let me.i ended up havin to get windows live care or some thing like that to fix it

Man, that's FRUSTRATING!!!! Who are these friggin GEEKS that create these worms? They need to use their powers for good!

I use Limewire. No problems as far as malware goes.
My biggest gripe is the MP3 selections suck compared to the late great Kazaa Lite.
With Limewire I've only been able to download 4 Betty Blowtorch MP3's, which totally sucks. K to anyone that can hook me up with more Betty Blowtorch (with Bianca Butthole) MP3's.
