Anyone have it?

It's the SHIT, just burned a label for my music CD, takes a little longer than printing one up but so much better looking and you don't have to worry about that paper crap messing up your player.

You can burn just about any image on it too. The CD's and DVD's for it are a little bit more expensive though.

I just use Avery cd/dvd labels. The templates are in my microsoft word and you can get any avery label or whatever, like a thousand different stickers and label products.

Then you can just use the templates or make your own from scratch. Upload images and then print it out, quite easy, never heard of lightscribe.

I like Avery too..

Lighscribe has special disk's tht allow you to just turn it over in the writer and it burns the image directly on the disk.

looks cool but I dont burn cds or dvds very often to justify the cost. Im moving away from that technology and going to have my media files stored here, less than the cost of a lightscribe burner and I can access my data and media from anywhere since I have an Imate. I can retrieve data and movies over the gprs system cellphone broadband. No need for cds or dvds anymore

Actually, I didn't go out looking for lightscribe, didn't even know it exsisted.. bought my laptop got home with it... Chef and I were cheking it out and he realized I had it. LOL

I don't burn much either, but its still geeky cool

please, please tell me you paid a little extra and got a windows media center laptop, its not upgradeable, you have to have it built into the computer, its awesome

If you dont have it and you can still take it back and get one, then I highly recommend it.
Its a laptop or desktop that has windows media center on it.
