Im getting sick of wearing the nike's. Want something a little different. Something that will help with powerlifts like squats/deads, etc.

I like wrestling shoes...they are not squishy like running shoes and they have great grip. Unless you have really weak ankles (or want to hide your skinny little calves) I'd stay away from boots in the gym.

I've read that the Converse All-Stars are popular squatting shoes because they are flat-bottomed which prevents your feet from "rolling" when exerting outward pressing force.

I'm with Silent Method, I've been wearing Nike wrestling shoes to the gym for years. They work great.

Flip Flops. Believe it or not. LOL - I wouldnt !!!! Talk about the potential for ankle injuries. I use adidas basketball shoes. Nothing Fancy.

Not sure if the model I have are called the powerflex. They're model MX 7777. They're the newer ones with the velcro strap. I'm very satisfied with them. Good grip, support and comfort...

Best Lifting Shoes

Thats right, buy Chuck Taylor All Stars. I just got a pair the other day and they are great. The Sports Authority sells them for 26.99 so they are about half of what most other athletic shoes cost. I heard that "JustForFeet" a shoe store in FLA sells them for $15!!!
