lifters "high"

I'm sure you guys have heard of runners high, when you are running then all of the sudden it feels so good and you aren't tired anymore.

Well the last few weeks i've been getting this lifters "high" were close to the end of my workout it just feels so good and you just want to do more

anyone else get this?
 
Definately! Lots of times though, i get a high just from getting to the gym. I work myself up so much that i am just so pumped to get there. Sometimes though, when i get to the end of my workout i feel great, other times i just feel blasted.

I figure both are good as long as i feel fullfilled.

this only happens with me when every other aspect of my life is good. on a good day, it will happen once in a while. so basically once every couple months or so..it feels great though

hey i hear ya buddy, it's the same for me. it's just a kind of rush you can't really explain. well at least for me it is.
 
I enjoy what I do in the gym. Its hard work, but I wouldn't have it any other way. However, I'm always spent at the end of a workout. I rarely, if ever, find myself wanting to do more than planned. My workouts are short - always around the 1 hour mark including warm-ups and cool-downs. They're also intense and get to the point. If I feel like I want to do more, then maybe I haven't worked at a high enough intensity or pushed as hard as I should have.

I've never felt a "runners" or exercise "high". I feel great when I workout, because I enjoy it and its doing me good, but not for some physiological reason.
 
i had a running high today from playin intense basketball. then i got really sick for like 2 hours, it was weird as hell. now i feel perfectly fine.
