Lie Detectors thru phone voice analyzing

Anybody knows if this really works? A gizmo+program that analyzes voice patters in person or phone conversations and detects untruthfulness.


We all know polygraphs are very accurate, but can it be done thru voice alone without all the wires and stuff?

Would be of no value at all in a courtroom because you'd have to prove that XYZ was indeed on the phone and then he/she could come up with 1387 different excuses...

I just read the chronicles of the John Gotti case and this was the main method of wire tap they used to convict him...

Even if it didn't work in court. Does it work in practice?

I thought the method they use to detect it would be to analyze your voice patterns versus other voice patterns, as in already have your voice patterns down. Then through that method, they detect the change in pitch or signs of stress in your voice, any changes at all.

If it does exist that is the way it would really work, just like a lie detector that hooks up to you, they analyze your normal state first, then ask you questions and check for any changes versus the questions they use as a way to gauge you.

wire tap and lie detection are two different stories. They tried that method here in Canada but no prosecutor wanted to go forward so it was just dropped for more effective methods.

The main issue with "voice pattern detection" is that you dont have the person sitting in front of you in special room which means many factors could potentially influence someone's voice/pitch. If i'm having my cock suck, something cooking, in a hurry to leave or watching porn my voice will definitely not be the same.

Uh No. No science or court supports a polygraph.

They are a joke.

Rethink that.

I'd say the voice tech is as accurate as a polygraph, that is - not at all.
