I have a automobile license plate number - need to find out who the registered owner of the car is. Any experience and/or suggestions on how to go about obtaining this information as quick as possible would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to post here or PM me. Thanks.

Call the DMV, tell them you are trying to figure out the legitimacy of an owner because you suspect the car is stolen.
