lexapro added to cycle

Have you been on lexapro for a while - I assume for depression? If not, I do not think that I would begin an antidepressant and a steroid cycle at the same time. Get the depression well under control and then consider a cycle.

No I havent at all -- my girlfriends parents are both docs and gave me a month of free trials to see if it helps -- I am almost done with my cycle... 4 weeks left then 4 week pct..

The nice thing about Lex is that it takes action quickly. You will know shortly if it is helping. It should not take any longer than 2 weeks (extreme case), some have noted feeling effects same day as first administration.

This is not true - it depends upon the individual - some people may take up to 6 weeks for it to notice differences. I used to have it for anxiety, I personally do not think it will make a difference in combination with the steroids. Your already pumping your body full of hormones so if you add the lexapro if anything it should just improve the situation. Not as many 'ups' and 'downs'.

IMHO I think your fine to do both

i was on lexapro, didnt help me at all so i'm on efexor xr 300mg and thats the ticket for me... but i agree with aj13 each time i trialed a different anti depressant i used it for 6 weeks to see any results...

Yup, sure is true. I would say, not the right drug for you or anyone else that is not feeling the benefit within 2 weeks. Also, Lex does not work as well on anxiety as it does depression.

With that said, for anyone to feel the greatest effects from any med for depression, anxiety, or other pathology you must engage in talk therapy.
