Need some advice on how to take if i decide to,I did a search but could not find what i was really looking for. Anabolics 2006 helped but not enough, below is some info about me and what i am planning, please comment if you understand and have knowledge in this area especially if you have first hand experience. I am new to the forum, but i am not new to supplementation and training.
Ok to make a long story short. I am 24 and 208 lbs. . Last year i weighed in at 364 lbs. so I have dropped a considerable amount of weight and have been able to hold on to my muscle mass, I didn't care about diet only getting stronger ,did that for 4-5 years, I have changed the way i feel about that. I have done this all naturaly through diet and proper training. Only supps. i take are protein, creatine, Insane MG ( just an NO product ) anf Animal Pak for my multi.
Now on to the thread reason.
My brother has hypothyroidism and takes Levothyroxine ( 100mcg pills ) He thought he lost a bottle of it and got a new prescription, low and behold he did not lose it and his wife found it. Anyway I have it now, and have done a large amount of research on it and understand that it is T4 and is converted in the body to become the active hormone T3.
I am worried about a number of things obviously when dealing with Thyroid anything. which is why i think that Levothyroxine is actually the safer choice considering it is much weaker than both Cytomel and Triacana. I also know that in order to be "safer" I will need to build up in dose as well as build down in dose to prevent any "crash" and decrease dependency. Also I belive a short cycle will also be a smart move to reduce any chance of doing long term damage to thryoid.
Here is what i am planning for a cycle.
All doeses will be taken at once in the morning on an empty stomach a half hour to hour before eating or drinking anything but water.
50 MCG for the first week
100 MCG for the second week
150 MCG for the third week ( Is this to high, should i keep it 100 MCG for the middle 4 weeks)
150 MCG for the fourth week
100 MCG for the fifth week
50 MCG for the sixth week Then i am off for at least 8 - 12 weeks ( maybe never again )
