Can you be a born again pagan? Born again muslim? Is that just a catchy neo-christian term they tho8ught up? Also why is it called born again? Because you found a new life under the direction of a book? what about Dianetics? Where does that fit in? I read a book called "Diuretics" once... it too changed my life for like 24 hours... i urinated quite profusely that day.

Interesting. The term born again is quite annoying, although there is an explanation for it somewhere in the bible.

What biteme said. It's a direct quote from JC Himself, "You must be born again." - John 3:7.

The idea of a "born-again Muslim" would be rejected by both Muslims and Christians; the Muslims, because they don't want to be seen as copycats, and the Christians, because "born-again" is their trademark.

it would be rejected by Muslims because, although they acknowledge that JC existed, Muhammad was "their man", and they wouldn't use a phrase that JC used.

and the idea that anyone *other* than a Christian could be "born again" is kinda silly, for the same reasons above.

Of course, you could be "born again thru digger", but then digger would probably want to have a nice volume written about his travels and whatnot to lend some credence to the concept.

born again, just means that one died to his/her old ways and was reborn to a new life following christ. (also termed christ follower)

quite frankly I find it all a bunch of bullshit!

Pagans generally say "As a child of the Goddess, my Mother got it right the first time."

Pagans already believe in being born again, as in, "we've been born, again, into THIS life, we're living now, will eventually die, and will be BORN AGAIN in the next life."

Most pagans -- at least wiccans -- believe in reincarnation.
