Let's talk about Raw...

I'm going to go on a limb and say Greg Valentine. Though I'm not too sure.

Well yeah, I was surprised when you said you knew Hail.

The man is a monster. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DIDN'T GIVE HIM BETTER TV TIME!

He's badass lookin'... and I think he should be given a chance to prove himself. People could get behind him.... I sure did.
He is a MONSTER. I would always make fun of him because he would shake your hand like a little girl. He was just afraid of hurting someone. His biggest problem is the mic. Vince is a dumbass for not hiring him.
Greg Valentine is correct.

I miss Owen. He was a great talent. He would'nt fit into the WWF product now. That tribute show to Owen the night after he died, I have on tape. I cried like a little girl.

Shit . . . did you see the pay-per-view!?!?!? That was the freakiest moment to me in the history of wrestling. He just fell and hit his head on the turnbuckle and snapped back.

You knew something went seriously wrong when Ross and Lawler went silent and then started talking mono-tone not knowing what was going on. That and when they turned the cameras away you knew something was wrong.

I don't see how them guys wrestled the rest of the night. You could tell they were all visibly upset.

They should have stopped the PPV.

Good hell... with the crowd seeing that... the wrestlers knowing what happened... not knowing if he's alive or dead...

They should have stopped the show.

I know "the show must go on"... but gimme a fuckin' break...

Big Brother Val, I'm also well acquanted with Luna and Gangrel. They would tan right next to the store I worked in down in Clearwater. One night I was working and they both come in and talked with me for a good three hours. Everytime I weould see them we would all talk. They were both great!

Yeah they kept saying about how Owen would have wanted it that way. I personally would have stop the show and at least refunded part of the money back to the fans. Then I would have scheduled a memorial ppv down the road with the proceeds going to his family.

Gangrel was nice... I've met him... but DAMN do I hate to watch him in the ring.

He had SUCH A COOL GIMMICK! Man... he should have been built all to hell... like Hail... for that role.

He fucked up a lot, and worked half-assed...

But it's always cool to meet a wrestler.

It's a shame he did'nt work harder. I agree his gimmick kicked ass! I did love his corkscrew elbow!

Frankly I'm glad I didn't see Owen die. It would have been very disturbing to say the least.
I was at work and within a 10 minute period, I recieved 8 phone calls telling me what happened.

Kryp2o... I believe he's wrestling the independant scene. He left due to a neck injury, and was never fit back in. He's worked some of the developmental promotions, like UPW and OVW... the tag team me and my partner wrestle in two weeks had a match with him and his "New Brood" tag team partner not too long ago.

So did the WWF just send him down or release him outright? Usually you can't wrestle in developmental promotions that are under WWF unless you're still under contract with them. Am I correct?

Cool . . . I would imagine Luna's traveling with him also. Were are you wrestling BBV?

I believe he was still under contract... as he had the same name and music. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but it was at the time the Ballard's wrestled him. I haven't heard much from him recently... maybe they dropped him altogether when they made some roster cuts to ease up on the funds they were paying wrestlers who they don't feel contribute anything to the company.

I wrestle for a small promo in the western US. I'd post a link to the webpage... but then everyone would see who I am.

We wrestle with UPW guys out of California, and I'm hoping to join up with them in early 2002. I'd be wrestling some of their talent for the next couple of months... and then, if I do well enough... I'll possibly be able to wrestle there.... but a lot has to fall into place for that to happen.

I wish you all the luck getting a shot in UPW. :)

I never understood why big money backer's don't invest in UPW and make it a national company. Hell there know all over the country. And a lot of big names wrestle there (WWF / WCW) every now and then . . .

BBV, all you need to know is the knife hand chop and the figure four leglock and you'll be the man. Also you gotta know how to get punched in the face 10 times, take like 5 paces, then fall on your face.

I think Gangrel has the rights to his character or music. I remember seeing a seperate copywrite or trademark for him when Smackdown 2 boots up.

Nah, the character name actually belongs to White Wolf. They licensed it to the WWF. It's actually one of the Vampire clans from Vampire the Masquerade.

Yeah, I'm a geek, I know...

Yeah that's what it was. I totally forgot all about that. I played VTM the pc game online awhile back and should've remembered. The bootup screen on Smackdown 2 says Gangrel is licensed from White Wolf Entertainment.
