Let's Say You are cutting

and doing a 30min cardio session at 4pm.......would you eat between luch noon and your session?


Ok, what is you were maintaining or bulking, same scenerio.....mucho karma
 
depends on what your diet looks like....

i would have a small meal consisting of some low GI carbs like oatmeal or something and some protein.

here's a good example.

Polishhammer1977 in June - 245

I did this with 3 hours of cardio 5 days per week at medium to high intensity. I ate fist sized portions at every meal (3 times a day). A protein supplement consumed throught the duration of my day. No eating after 8 pm.

I lost 25 lbs in no time and definitely took the bf% way down.

I am building it back up now. Today I weigh 230. You just have to find what works for you. Whole foods and heavy lifting do it for me :) Now we'll see if I can take it all the way to 275?

What do you mean 3 hours of cardio 5 days a week? 3 hours/day? How did you split that up?

I do double sessions as well. Shit works I'll tell you that....very taxing, but it works like nothing else....my legs have never been so vascular in my life.....and thick. My calves like like they have spider webs running down the sides of them....freaky shit.

non-trainign days:
1 hour morning cardio
1 hour evening cardio
treadmill, 70-75% MHR

training days:
1 hour morning cardio (treadmill)
30 minutes PW cardio (recumbent bike 70% MHR)
 
Definitely very taxing. I am conditioned to gain and lose extreme amount of weight man. Kind of like a wrestler. I can gain and lose quick. It just takes longer to gain :(

the cardio listed will give you gradual gains. what i listed is a crash course. yours is safer for the average person. i would therefore recommend your idea and not mine :)
 
Nicee....now my questions is on off-days, do you keep your calories/carbs the same? What do you eat priot to your evening cardio?
 
Thats a lot of cardio guys! Did you feel that was preferable to dropping some calories from your diet?
 
Yeah definitely a part-time job, haha.

Hammer, dude, fist-sized portions 3 times a day? Are you saying 3 small meals, and a protein supplement? That sounds like starvation to me.
