I am looking for information on opinions on the differences between shorter cycles of 10 to 12 weeks with higher doses versus 20 to 25 weeks with lower doses.

My opinion: Longer cycles with lower doses MAY be worth looking into. I had one experiment with a 20 week cycle with 250 per week Test. The overall body transformation was more noticable especially with the appearance of LBM. I thought the gains were of a better quality and were easier to keep than I did on a Deca 400mg and Test 500mg EW for 12 weeks. The gains were actually comparable as far as total weight, but it seemed that the recovery and keeping the weight afterwards was easier with the longer cycle with lowere doses.

I would like to try Tren E with Test E . Each at 250 for an extended period to see what the results would be!
 
I'd try test E and tren E both at 500mg/week for 20 weeks.

longer cycles = better gains in my opinion.

At least in my experience...

I bounce back quick with HCG + nolva + 10mg morning dbol for the first couple weeks of pct without the dreaded low test depression.

Ahh, the d-bol bridge theory...so you bounce right back by further suppressing HPTA recovery using an androgen with anti-e's? Isn't that counter-productive? Wait, that's right. In theory T-levels are highest in the morning so 10mg of D-bol taken daily with PCT recovery shouldn't have much of an effect on HPTA, right? Hmmm. That sounds like our dearly departed Fonz.

so what if I am fonz? huh? huh?

its only during the first couple weeks of pct - then its dropped and pct is resumed as normal. It really seems to help contain that post cycle crash.
 
I like staying on for long periods better.I do the cruise/blast method though.I stay low dose and then once in a while up the dose and add another compound and maybe an oral.

Just messing around with ya. Pragmatically speaking it does make sense. It's similar to tritating someone off a drug but it depends entirely on what AAS you were using - long acting or short-acting esters. Doing a D-bol bridge shortly after discontinuing long-acting esters like Deca, EQ or Enan would serve no purpose. In fact, it prolongs PCT recovery. You have to let the AAS start to clear your system. Otherwise all you're doing is elevating already high testosterone levels which will cause a harder crash PCT so the timing of the D-bol bridge is very important.
 
I believe in longer cycles, but if you're gonna run then run. Use at least 500 mgs a week of test for 20 weeks. 250 is basically just shutting yourself down.
 
I feel that longer cycles have helped me maintain more.Drugs or not I feel you have to give your body a period of time to get used to new weight,strength and body composition change.Going for a longer time and just adjusting the doses and compounds is the way to go.Just make sure to get regular blood test and have proper pct protocol ready to go.I am a big supporter of hcg all thru a cycle.
 
i like shorter cycles.. but im young so my bodys own test can sustain what i gain so it might change in 10 yrs..+
