Lemonade Log

Hi All!
I want to begin a log to keep myself accountable. I love this board. Everyone is very knowledgeable and supportive! I am 43 yrs old, have not worked out seriously in 2 years and mananged to go from 110 to 130!! Time to start back! I am beginning with the Master Cleanse during the day and an organic salad at night. - Not the typical bb diet I know but I am comfortable here and will do this until I feel I can handle eating "in moderation". OK - off for my morning workout!!
 
Thanks for the welcome!!!! I do love it here! It is very non judgemental and that is a nice change! People are open minded enough to be accepting of various programs. I had an AWESOME 5 mile run this morning - needed to move my big back yard!! - I am looking forward to working out with dh at the gym later - chest/back day!! the lemonade is a nice change today - sometimes I just need a break from weighing, measuring, and counting.
 
Good for you on the good run! :) I am running 5 miles Saturday ... but after my 3.5 mile "feeling like I am running in mud" run today, I might move it to Sunday! :)

I feel like I am crawling out of my 3 year hole!!! I definately know there is a light somewhere!! I am here and that is a good start!! I love the support of this board . I am making baby step progress which is hard for me with my all or nothing attitude. Last night was our usual family night Friday where the chips and wine play a big part. I stuck with the guiltless gourmet chips after I ate a huge salad and only had one glass of wine. I had a decent run this morining but still felt weighted down from the late salad. I am a little down today because I caved in and ate 2 grapefruits and canteloupe after my run. I really wanted to do my lemon drink all day. I can't keep saying "it's ok I'll do better" - that is what I have been saying and now I am up to 127-130. I will definately weight train after I get back from the beach with the kids. Anyway, my order from Blackwing arrived yesterday. It included 10 pounds of ostrich, bison, and chicken. Dh and I are on a mission to eat 4 ounces at lunch and dinner with a salad. That plan is to start Sunday. The lemonade drink will be consumed in the morning through as late in the day as we can. - Still sounds screwy to me but we are on a mission to get me back in shape!!! I am not a 1/2 cup oats with egg white person - I have tried too many times - I have to accept I am different and do what works for me - change as needed. Ho hum - even I am bored with all of this!!!
 
Is the master cleanse a lemon drink?

The ostrich, chicken and bison is an excellent addition to your diet.

Thanks Claire!!! - I really appreciate support - it is much needed!! I never used to need support but anyway....! Yes, the lemonade and the master Cleanse are one in the same. I love the feeling of "cleansing" during the day - this is definatley something I would like to continue with for the long haul. I had a nice run yesterday and a day of pampering all to myself!! Today I had a good workout at the gym and a quick run - I would like to get back to the gym tonight or jump on my stairmaster. these 30 pounds need to leave my body and I need to stay active. I do not burn any calories at work but that will change when we move offices. the new office is on the 17th floor and I plan to take the stairs 5 times a day!! food should not be a problem today - I hope!!

This is a great place for support. I don't give a lot of diet advice but can help and encourage your weight training.

The stairs will be great. I use to work on the 6th floor and would run up the stairs three times a day and it felt great. 17th floors will be a killer.
