Squats are getting easier. I've gained a lot of size. I'm not coming close to failure with them. My goal for this winter is to break 495x5. I did 405x5 last fall. I think I could do at least that much now.

I like to do standing knee raise in between sets to work antagonist hip flexors. I also do some stretching between sets and drink a lot of water.
I'm also doing some plyos for thighs on every other workout. I basically go into a squat, then explode/jump as high as I can for about 2 sets of 5. Probably looks pretty stupid, though.
