Leg workout

I seperated my right shoulder and will be going to physical therapy. However I want to continue working out my legs. I have chicken legs, calves are about 13.5in. I can wrap my hand around my ankle, so I am small boned. Previously I was squating about 3 sets of 185x8. My main goal is to add alot of size to my legs and calves. I would not mind having 17in calves. My shoulder is still swollen so I can not do squats. I can do extensions and curls though. So overall I am looking for a workout that will keep me in the gym often so I can stay motivated, I will lose motivation if im in the gym only 1 or 2 days a week. Any suggestions? When my shoulder isnt swollen anymore, I should be able to do squats again and will incoporate them in. Thanks for any help

i can do any exercises that dont involve my shoulder....I can probably do lunges with light dumbbells....right now I am concerned about the frequency of my workout.....can i work legs 3 days a week or is that too much?

what about front squats on the smith machine?

3x8 front squats
5x15 calves (choose exercise)
3x8 leg curls
3x8 hamstring curls

you could do that twice a week probably maybe mon and thurs and then go into the gym one more day a week and do a little bit of light running or biking and do some abs.
