i just had my first workout after a 5 day lay-off period. i know that i was in fact slightly overtrained but now i feel nice and fresh again. everything felt surprisingly light and i shed a few lbs. of fat as well.
so to everyone who feels overtrained/burnt out, etc.; take a couple days off! you'd be surprised how much it can do for you.
 
i think i'm gonna schedule them as well from now on...simple things like this can really do a lot for ya
 
right now i think im in the peak of my strength, and i get plenty of rest days, but i did get overtrained a couple of months back, so i took 4 days off and i came back stronger then before.
 
thnx bro, will do. i must say i'm really surprises at the effects, i even upped the weight on GMs a bit. curious as to how it'll workout tomorrow!
 
Today`s my first day of a week off. So far so good, but it feels weird not lifting. lol I NEED the rest I`m aching/tired/ overtrained etc etc etc

I`m at my best now though. re strength and size
 
I took the holiday off - and now I have so much energy I really don't know what to do with myself.

I want to call out of work and hit the gym:mix:
