i just had my first workout after a 5 day lay-off period. i know that i was in fact slightly overtrained but now i feel nice and fresh again. everything felt surprisingly light and i shed a few lbs. of fat as well.
so to everyone who feels overtrained/burnt out, etc.; take a couple days off! you'd be surprised how much it can do for you.
