Is there a time limit on an accident claim. I was involved in an accident three years ago and I just now get a notice that they are going to sue. Any help would be great.

I know there is a limited amount of time to file.

the statute of limitations will vary from state to state, was this a breach of contract or a tort. was it negligent or intentional? was it medical malpractice. when did you become aware of the injury?
do a search on google under statute of limitations and your injury....
