Be careful following something like that.
A good example would be most financial advisors or mortgage brokers. They have a saying "perception is reality"
They act like they have money and are very successful. The reality is most are not and do not.
If you know them you will find that they are constantly selling you something. Be it a story or what ever.
In the end you don't believe a word they say yet they keep up with projecting something that is not there.
On the other hand if you understand what makes a person tick you can then interact with them in a way that they will comprehend.
You can present yourself in a manner in which they are more receptive too.
In the end its all manipulation. You are either being manipulated or you are manipulating. Is that for you? If it is you will wind up with someone just like you.
I go for honesty. I don't hide things. The interesting part is that being honest is offensive and intimidating to most people.
I just want to go through life comfortable with who I am?
