Law/Justice Question?..

Well ive always wanted to be a lawyer (Criminal / Prosecution) when i finished school, Now im having second thoughts.. Something that just pissis me off the most.. is how when somone murders somone then pleads insane?! What the fuck is up with this shit? That women that killed all her kids... they say she wasnt sane and should be in the hospital instead if the electric chair, people like that dont deserve to live, crazy or not i dont really care, I dont know anymore If i become a lawyer and have to deal with a situation like this some day and lose my case because some fucking shrink says she wasnt "all there" i might have to throw my whole career away! Any opinions?

The fact that you are so disgruntled by the way that the legislative and judicial systems are run sounds like a perfect reason for you to become a lawyer. You could make it your aspiration to change things for the states (you never know what could happen). It sounds to me like you would be a good advocat for the prosecution in the woman who killed her 5 children's case. Dont doubt yourself.

Thank you Bunny it means a lot to me, Im just very passionate about law,.. And i know that despite the fact that she was certified insane.. She should still be punished for her actions, this has happened many times in past and recent history and it just makes my blood boil to know that sometimes people hide behind doctors and such to cover their own ass.. but thats just how i feel.. My own mother disagrees with me lol , she thinks that if she was really as sick in the head as poeple say she was, she shouldnt be responsible ..Bleah
