In the hiring process for employment with a local police agency, will they test for steroids? Do any police departments test for steroids in order to gain employment? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I highly doubt it. They most likely test for cocaine, heroin, marijuana ect. I have read steroid tests are very expensive. Unless you look like a genetic freak, I don't think you have to worry about it.

To answer your question, No you will not be tested for AS...I have never heard of an officer being tested for AS....Unless someone like LASER who has a problem with authority turns you in...

Laserdude: Bro one third of police officers have tried or are on roids. Now to answer your question bro. No they dont test for roids. Here in Montreal such a test costs 250$. Following the selection process' agreement, you pay half of each test. Police dep pays the other half. They're already paying for so many test dont think they're interested by most expensive.......... lol
I have a few friends that are cops , and several that juice , but only one has been tested for AS and he was the only one out of a group of about 6 people that got tested . Now that could have created a legal mater if wanted to pursue it.
