late night cravings...what to do?

I am trying to cut right now and reduce my body fat %.... However, i am constantly battling late night food cravings. Any ideas about what helps to beat the cravings, or what snacks aren't so bad or maybe even beneficlal as a late night snack?

try drinking a few glasses of water
sometimes the bodies request gets confused between hunger and thirst

Water always helps.

Things I eat at night

cottage cheese w/ mixed nuts
casein shake w/ anpb
If you want something w/ flavor make your own chili.
Some beans, lean ground beef, tomato paste and tabasco and there you go.
 
Something with protein and good fats is not going to hurt you and is actually good to help keep your body from burning muscle during sleep. ANPB is good thing to try.

You can drink some liquid amino but probably not eating enough the day time if you hungry at 12 or 1am,if you talking about late night like 4-5am its normal,body needs refuel ..wake up drink a shake and go to sleep again.
 
An apple or an orange and alot of water will do the trick. Saltine crackers are good to if you dont mind a little sodium. 5 crackers only has 60 calories.
 
Best I've found is to get sugar free metamucil (psyllium fiber) and mix it in a glass of water. Not only does it make you regular, but it really kills the hunger really well as the fiber expands.

an orange late night? with all that fibre? an orange that time will feel like a piece of iron in the stomach.
