Lat, exercises to keep shoulder pulled down.

Parabellum

What exercises can I do to keep my shoulder pulled down.
I ahd surgery 2 months ago and I want to develop the muslces that keep my shoulder pulled down.

Also how can I rehab this: if I try to do a front raise (weightless) with thumbs down it hurts like a mofo. This is started after surgery.

What kind of problem did you have that needed surgery?
I would focus more on strengthening the shoulder as you would normally, start light, or no wieght, and begin to establish ROM then begin to add weight as strength allows. It's not so much about "holding the shoulder down" as it is rehabbing the shoulder and keeping muscle balance throughout the shoulder girdle itself. Stretch your rotator cuffs, do windmills front and backwards, raise movement, and normal ROM development. As your delts and cuffs develop, so will stability and strength in the joint.
Worry more about not rushing your rehab, the most common mistake made in all sports by impatient athletes and teams[don't fall victim to "recovering way ahead of schedule" - it's almost always a fallacy that sets you up to fail], and the consequences are known to all - re-injury, poor healing, and permanent weakness.

That is the best advice I can give you.
Hope I helped.

Thanks for the advice.

They filed the clavicle down, removed a bone spur, and did a decompression.
I know it wasn't a sub scap decompression but it was some kind of decompression.
