laser surgery...please ease my fears...

Hi ladies--has anyone out there had laser (co2) surgery? I am scheduled to undergo the procedure in about 3 weeks. What can I expect? Any advice is appreciated...

pretty scary stuff to me.

Woops - I thought you meant CO2 laser resurfacing for the face.
