Laser hair removel or electrolysis

How much pain is involved in laser? I recently found out they apply or have the patient apply topical Lidocane. WTF? I thought it was a painless light.

I never had a topical applied with any of my treatments. It was noticable but I was not in pain. :)

I had a little test area on my neck lasered a while back.... yea it hurts like a little bitch I was surprised, kind of like little pins being shot in and out of you really quickly. Apparently you apply Lidocane and leave it on for an hour right before treatment to nullify the pain just a little.

I had laser done 3 years ago on my back, shoulders and neck. For the LITTLE amount of pain I experienced, it was well worth it. I have had some regrowth but most of it was very light coloured hairs, not course dark hair. I found my neck and low back to be the most sensitive areas with the laser.
Glad I had it done!

I think I paid around $2000.00 and it included 5 treatments, once every three months. started in 2001 and finished in summer of 2002. The company was from the US and they are in several states. But do some phoning around to get some quotes.
Good Luck
